My bird feede are quite bussy this year. This time I focussed on tits, and here are a few results:

I found, that my old Canon 540EZs and Nikon SB24 and SB25 flash guns are quite slow. When using them at 1/8 of full power, the result is an unsharp image overlayed by sharp image from buff's Einstein flash:

With Canons tuned down all the way to 1/128 of power, result is sharp

What I also find out is, that Canon's bayonet is a bit lousy and the light leaks between camera body and extesion ring, probably due to stress on the bayonet, because of the heawy lens:
