first success with infrared photography

Here is my first succesfoul infrared photo. I had some time due to my daughter's illnes, and reworked some of my photos, that were siting in hard drive waiting for such occations.

first snow of the winter

Last Saturday, when I was driving home after finishing very succesfoul Palladiotype workshop, I needed to put snow chains on my van. And even so it was quite challenging driving through ten inches of snow on the road. In the afternoon with the help from the boys, I manage to clear 70cm of snow from our front yard. I didn't see this much snow for quite some time. Boys enyoyed playing in white stuff and I was even abble to take few photos of crisp sunny winter landscape.

second workshop - after the end

Well, second workshop could not be more differnt than the first one. If we were rained on for most of the time on first workshop, we were blessed with sunshine and morning mist on second one. We drove more than 1000 miles and were just able to visit all locations we planned. 

Second Autumn workshop

This workshop looks like it'll be very different than the first one. The weather forecast till Sunday predicts clear weather with morning mist....

16th October

It's still raining. I don't remember such a wet Autumn workshop, and we lead this workshops for quite a while. Rain is also the reason for the lack of updates: we were diriving a lot in search for suitable images. Never the less, we plan to go to Soča valley today, as the reaver is very high due to all this rain. It might be interesting, as I newer saw it so high....

First Autumn workshop

We started with first of out two back to back workshops. We went to Ljubljana for some photos of old town in dusk. We were lucky, as there were no boats to spoil the reflections of Three Bridges in Ljubljanica river.

Web site update

It was rather busy summer. I needed to work hard for my knee to recover from operation. Not that I'm complaining, as I was able to spend reasonable amount of time outdoors on my bike, but photography had to take back seat. Now that the knee is in reasonable good shape and temperatures had came down to more managable level, it's again time to take few photographs.
